{"id":25988,"date":"2020-04-20T19:10:44","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T18:10:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=25988"},"modified":"2020-04-20T19:10:44","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T18:10:44","slug":"ogun-bauchi-oyo-lagos-governors-to-share-covid-19-experiences-with-32-other-governors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=25988","title":{"rendered":"Ogun, Bauchi, Oyo, Lagos Governors to share COVID-19 experiences with 32 other governors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Release<\/strong><br \/>\nBy <strong>Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo<\/strong>, Head, Media and Public Affairs, NGF<br \/>\nThe Nigeria Governors\u2019 Forum will be meeting on Wednesday April 22 to review the Covid19 situation so far and the various measures taken by states governments at various stages of the virus\u2019 incursions into the country.<br \/>\nIn an Invite to governors issued today by the Director General of the Forum, Mr Asishana Bayo Okauru, this will be the sixth teleconference for the governors since the Covid19 pandemic slipped into the country.<br \/>\nMr Okauru\u2019s invitation is asking the governors to prepare to discuss the journey so far and provide state-by-state updates on the dominant issue of the season.<br \/>\nFour states including Bauchi, Ogun, Lagos and Oyo will be invited to share their experiences with the rest of the country.<br \/>\nThe National Economic Council ad-hoc committee and the Presidential Task Force on Covid19 are also expected to make presentations before the governors at the Wednesday meeting.<br \/>\nThe meeting which starts at 2pm will also deliberate on palliatives to the most vulnerable in society and how the Federal and State governments are collaborating on the Pandemic and the type of assistance that the president will be rendering to states.<br \/>\nThe previous 5 meetings have been attended by most of the governors and their contributions have been as intensive as they were varied in approach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Release By Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, Head, Media and Public Affairs, NGF The Nigeria Governors\u2019 Forum will be meeting on Wednesday April 22 to review the Covid19 situation so far and the various measures taken by states governments at various stages of the virus\u2019 incursions into the country.
