In a rare claim, backed by a Facebook post, an Abuja-based minister of the gospel, Ojonimi Agada, says he is not perturbed by the new Coronavirus (COVID) because his congregation and friends knew about it since August last year, and spent 31 days after praying and fasting for it for God’s mercies on Nigeria.
\n“Please help to convey the message to all your contacts, God had gone ahead of Covid 19 barely 7 months ago. Tell all Nigerians to be calm and stand still to see the salvation of the LORD. We prayed for 31days on a daily basis from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., we’ve obeyed God in doing our part for Nigeria. Please share. See evidence in photo attached”, Agada said.

\nAsked to send a link to the Facebook post for further and direct confirmation, since similar claims by the clergy were in the media space, Agada, whose ministry is based in the sleepy university town of Gwagwalada, in Abuja, forwarded:

\nIt is not the first time Agada is taking on Nigeria Everyday.<\/strong> When the online publication ran a verbatim statement by the Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN) last week, he sent us with a message to CAN.
\nHis message read: “Prayer we have done already for 31 days (around) September, 2019? CAN is declaring (March) 22 & 29 . Tell CAN if we had not obeyed God in carrying out this exercise, Nigeria would have recorded several deaths as a result of Covid 19. But Nigeria should stand still and see the salvation of the LORD.
