Three hours after she left her office in the most secured precincts of Aso Rock Villa, an Assistant Director in the Presidency has been found dead in her home in Galadimawa.
\nBut who did it? That is the puzzle the Police and all manner of security operatives will have to unravel because of the sensitive nature of where she worked.
\nThe Police is yet to speak on any findings, but the Permanent Secretary in the A so Rock Villa, Jalal Arabi, has described the killing of Ms. Laetitia Naankang Dagan, Assistant Director of Administration in the State House, as \u201ca painful loss, not only to her immediate family, but also the entire State House.\u201d
\n\u201cShe was a dedicated, hard-working officer, and we all feel pained by her dastardly and untimely death,\u201d Arabi told her family members during a condolence visit.
\nAccording to the Permanent Secretary, \u201cWe all share in your grief and pains, but be consoled by the fact that she lived a good life and contributed her best to the services of her nation.\u201d
\nArabi expressed confidence that \u201cthe Police will fish out the killers of Laetitia and the law will take its course.\u201d
\n47-year Ms. Dagan from Plateau State, worked in her office on Monday till 8pm, but by 11pm, she was gruesomely murdered in her apartment by unknown persons.
