{"id":24168,"date":"2020-01-31T11:34:47","date_gmt":"2020-01-31T10:34:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=24168"},"modified":"2020-01-31T11:34:47","modified_gmt":"2020-01-31T10:34:47","slug":"number-of-us-soldiers-with-brain-trauma-after-iranian-attack-rises-to-64","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=24168","title":{"rendered":"Number of US soldiers with brain trauma after Iranian attack rises to 64"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The number of US servicemen, who have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) after the Iranian attack on US bases in Iraq, has increased to 64, the Department of Defence said.<br \/>\n\u201cAs of today, 64 US service members have been diagnosed with mild traumatic brain injury, or TBI. 14 additional service members have been diagnosed with TBI since the previous report,\u201d the department said in a statement on late Thursday.<br \/>\nAccording to the Pentagon, 39 servicemen with TBI have already returned to duty.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019ll continue to monitor them the rest of their lives, actually, and continue to provide whatever treatment is necessary.<br \/>\n\u201cAnd we take great pride in the fact that these are our own and we\u2019re going to take care of them,\u201d Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen.
