{"id":23836,"date":"2020-01-15T15:08:44","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T14:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=23836"},"modified":"2020-01-15T15:08:44","modified_gmt":"2020-01-15T14:08:44","slug":"mifaa-donates-drugs-to-asokoro-district-hospital-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=23836","title":{"rendered":"MIFAA Donates Drugs to Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A delegation from Medical Initiative for Africa, Abuja (MIFAA) International secretariat, Monday donated drugs worth hundreds of thousands of Naira to the Management of Asokoro District Hospital (ADH).<br \/>\nA statement by MIFAA&#8217;s, Director of Public Engagement, Dr. Oguamanam Jacqueline, said the team led by its President, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, included the Vice President, Dr Agbor Ebuta; and Director of Special projects, Dr Noel Arua, was received by the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr Nnabuchi and Head of Pharmacy Department, Pharm. Peter Enemarie.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23838\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23838\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-23838\" src=\"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG-20200115-WA0011-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23838\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Drs. Ebuta, Fasoranti, and Arua<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nThe President, Dr Taiwo, re-affirmed MIFAA&#8217;s desire to expand the borders of interaction and assured the management and staff of continued support.<br \/>\nDr Ebuta stressed the importance of the private sector\u2019s support for government organisations to facilitate the execution of humanitarian services.<br \/>\nDr Arua, poured encomiums on the management and staff of the hospital for their excellent commitment to maintaining access to cost-efficient, quality medical services, and encourage the management to use the drugs for indigent patients.<br \/>\nThe ADH CMAC, also a Consultant Gastroenterologist, while receiving the items, expressed gratitude on the collaborative efforts, and called on other well-meaning organizations and individuals to emulate MIFAA.<br \/>\nOn his part, the HOD Pharmaceutical services, Pharm.
