Where did you learn your prayer motivation, language and style?<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u2022 The WHEN. The Bible teaches prayer as a lifestyle, not an activity (1Thes.5:17; Lk.18:1)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u2022 The HOW. Prayer is not an after dinner speech or a mindless incantation; neither is it some panic button to push when in danger. It is more like a father and child dialogue. Or two intimate friends shamelessly pouring out their hearts to each other. (Mt. 6:5-6; 1Sam.1:15)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u2022 The WHY. Prayer is not some folk or spoon to pick goodies and blessings from heaven&#8217;s table; it is God&#8217;s divine instrument to build His kingdom on earth. He is sovereign but has chosen to work or act in response to the prayers of His people. (Ezek.22:30; Mt.9:36-38)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Every body prays, but not every prayer is heard or answered by God. For our prayers to receive the attention of Heaven, they must be in accordance with God&#8217;s WORD and God&#8217;s WILL.
