We campaigned vigorously on our record and continuously prayed for God to choose the best leader for Kaduna State even if that choice is someone else!! God has decided. We are grateful to over 1 million Kaduna voters through whom He made us the choice\u201d, he wrote on his Twitter handle.<br \/>\nAnnouncing the result on Monday in Kaduna, the State Returning Officer, Prof. Muhammed Yahuza Bello said, El-Rufai, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, scored 1,045,427 votes to emerge winner.<br \/>\nHe said the candidate, Alhaji Isah Ashiru of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 814,168 votes<br \/>\n\u201cBello said Malam Nasiru El-Rufai haven fulfilled all the requirements of the law, and scored the highest votes is hereby declared winner of the Kaduna State governorship election.\u201d\u201d<br \/>\nBello said the APC won in 14 LGs while the PDP won in nine LGs that make up 23 LGs in the State.<br \/>\nAccording to him, the APC won in Ikara,Kubau,Makarfi, Kudan , Giwa, Kauru and Soba local government areas.<br \/>\nThe APC also won in Lere, Birnin Gwari, Kaduna North and Sabon Gari, Igabi, Kaduna South, Zaria LGs.<br \/>\nWhile the opposition PDP won in nine local government areas, including Kajuru,Kaura, Jaba, Kachia, Zango Kataf, Sanga, Kagarko, Jema\u2019a and Chikun LGAs.<br \/>\nThe results are as follows:<br \/>\n1.Ikara Local government<br \/>\nAPC:41,969<br \/>\nPDP:22,553<br \/>\n2.Kubau Local government<br \/>\nAPC:57,182<br \/>\nPDP:17,074<br \/>\n3.Kajuru Local government<br \/>\nAPC:10,229<br \/>\nPDP:34,658<br \/>\n4.Kaura Local government:<br \/>\nAPC:8,342<br \/>\nPDP:38,764<br \/>\n5.Makarfi local government:<br \/>\nAPC:34,956<br \/>\nPDP:22,301<br \/>\n6.Jaba Local government:<br \/>\nAPC:6,298<br \/>\nPDP:22,976<br \/>\n7.Kudan Local government:<br \/>\nAPC:28,624<br \/>\nPDP:22,022<br \/>\n8.Giwa Local government<br \/>\nAPC:51,455<br \/>\nPDP:19,834<br \/>\n9.Kauru Local government<br \/>\nAPC:34,844<br \/>\nPDP:31,928<br \/>\n10.Kachia Local government<br \/>\nAPC:30,812<br \/>\nPDP:51,780<br \/>\n11.
