{"id":15401,"date":"2019-02-16T04:36:15","date_gmt":"2019-02-16T04:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=15401"},"modified":"2019-02-16T04:36:15","modified_gmt":"2019-02-16T04:36:15","slug":"kogi-army-pdp-members-stop-armed-mask-men-at-party-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/everyday.ng\/?p=15401","title":{"rendered":"Kogi: Army, PDP members stop armed mask men at party meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hooded men in police uniform Friday stormed a meeting of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, but were prevented by the Military from disrupting the parley which held at a former Governor of the State, Mr. Idris Wada\u2019s residence.<br \/>\nIt was gathered that the men were resisted by the party members who immediately sent distress calls to the military which eventually dispersed the invaders.<br \/>\nThe Kogi State PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr. Bode Ogunmola, has confirmed the incident.<br \/>\n\u201cWe were at our leader\u2019s house, the former Governor of the state. Some hooded men in police uniform came around trying to penetrate, they wanted to forcefully enter Ibro\u2019s house.<br \/>\n\u201cOf course, we stood our ground, we called for military reinforcement. They have been sent back. We stood our ground, how many people can they kill? When they saw the crowd, they were afraid.
