Senator Magnus Abe and Prof. Pat Utomi, among others chosen from parallel governorship primaries, have lost out in the ruling party.<\/div>\n

The All Progressives Congress (APC), this Friday morning released the list of its governorship candidates for 24 States. As expected, Imo State was conspicuously missing as the Governor, Rochas Okorocha, continues to battle opposition elements within his party over who becomes candidate. Okorocha wants his son-in-law to get the coveted ticket, but others would have none of it.<\/div>\n

In a statement, APC spokesman, Mr. Yekini Nabena, announced that following the Governorship Primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held across the country, the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) at its meeting held on Thursday, 4th October, 2018<\/a> ratified the reports of the various Electoral Committees and adopted the under-listed as Governorship candidates of the APC for the forthcoming 2019 general elections.<\/div>\n
