The Chairman of the National Working Committee (NWC) panel that Tuesday announced the cancellation of All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Lagos State, Chief Clement Ebri, has reversed himself and declared that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu won the contentious election.
\nHe may have adopted the position of the party’s nation chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who declared Tuesday night that the primaries in Lagos had been conducted and anyone aggrieved could only complain after results are declared.
\nTunde Balogun, the APC Chairman for Lagos State had announced that incumbent Governor Akinwumi Ambode polled a total votes of 72,901, while Sanwoolu polled total votes of 970, 851 to emerge winner of the contest.
