On face value, this sounds a great desire; didn&#8217;t our God promise us a lift from &#8220;one degree of glory to another&#8221;? In any case, who wants to stay on same level in this life?<br \/>\nThat is precisely the issue ~ our preoccupation with life in this <strong>world<\/strong>. For many who desire this &#8216;next level&#8217; are not thinking of the Christ-life or kingdom-life.<br \/>\nWe don&#8217;t mind being minnows and mediocres when it comes to our spiritual lives, but are ever eager and passionate for &#8216;excellence&#8217; in the things of the world ~ things that are bound to pass away with the world<br \/>\nAs believers, we are seated at God&#8217;s right hand in <strong>Christ<\/strong> above all [Eph. 2:6] Only heaven is our next level . We are enjoined from there to seek things of eternal value. <strong>These are: GOD, His WORD and SOULS of men<\/strong>.
