Anything you do for God out of your Self- effort, strength, and will, is iniquity.
Any church, ministry, mission, project that emerges out of Self, and not Christ is iniquity.
Iniquity of ministry is actually a ministry initiated and done by Self.
The simple way to test if a work is iniquitous or not, is when people tell you how they started their ministry. Some will tell you that they can no longer stand an overbearing leader. Others will tell you that their pastor is not allowing them to exercise their giftings. Others will tell you that their pastor or leader is spending church money any how. Yet, some others will tell you that their pastors use them to preach, and that it hurts. Some others will tell you that they are being frustrated by their leaders. Some will even say that their leader is an adulterer.
When leaders behave this way against you, Satan is directing the attack not so much against them but against you. Satan has caught them already, but wants to get you to commit iniquity by getting offended, speak against them and rebel. He knows God has a glorious plan for you, and that if he can get you to be angry and pull out by your SELF to start a church without cross-checking with Christ, you will disconnect yourself from God and miss His wonderful plans for you. Satan knows that God cannot tolerate SELF. Satan uses difficult
and unsanctified leaders to throw people out of God’s favour and plans for their.
Interestingly, God will allow you to go through these difficult experiences If you bear patiently, and follow the way of the cross, and overcome, the promotion God gives in the Spirit is indescribable. The promises are serious, permit me to use the words. The authority to transform the lives of people is great. Satan cannot question your authority in prayer and the preaching of God’s word as he himself disobeyed authority, but for you, you obeyed authority even when such obedience in deciding to love, forebear, submit meant suffering in the hands of terrible leaders, Heb.5:8.
That a man left a church to another church as led by God where he will be fed better is a different matter. We are talking about when the Lord calls and appoints you to work in a church, ministry or organization. Until your CEO, Christ reposts you, you cannot just leave. If you leave because of your painful experiences it means you have “not yet learned Christ.”
In life and in ministry, everything must be Christ. Our laughter, crying, loving, living, walking, working, decisions, choices must be Christ. May God raise an army that will live this way, and thereby dethrone Satan in Jesus name!
