Our world has gone digital and virtual; business is largely done online. Even traditional bonds like marriage have moved online. How convenient!
Then came crypto currencies to replace hard currencies and coins, transactions are decentralized using cryptography, rather than by a central bank. We now customize even our medium of exchange.
The COVID-19 pandemic accentuated this culture of a virtual world. Even Church meetings and fellowship have gone largely virtual, with good benefits but also a great danger, the danger of dropping out and losing the benefits of mutual encouragement and accountability. Our faith was designed to be a common faith, with checks and balances, not a virtual, crypto faith. Fellowship, online or on land, is critical.
