Another video has emerged how former military Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon accepted his overthrow, wishing the new military rulers well, and offering to serve the country in any other capacity.
He was however to proceed on a self-imposed exile to the United Kingdom for further studies.
Last week, a video of his reaction emerged of how he received the news of his overthrow when it was whispered to him at the on-going meeting of Heads of State of the Organisation for African Unity (OAU) in Kampala, Uganda in July 1975.
