Subsistence farming is when farmers grow food crops to feed themselves and their families; output is targeted to survival with little or no surplus to trade. Commercial farming, on the other hand, is a type of farming in which crops are grown in large quantities for others to purchase or benefit from.
The Christian Life is like farming. You either scoop just enough for your survival or gather enough to share with others. Jesus came to give us abundant life, not mere subsistence living.
The water that issued from the temple in Ezekiel 47 only begun to impact and give life when it became a flow.
Jesus invites us to come drink to our fill so we can flow out in blessing to Others ~Jn. 7:37-39.
