Nearly 24 hours after six persons were killed and several others were injured in a village in Miango, another 20 people are believed to have been killed early Monday morning attack in another village in the popular tourist district.

Both Ta’agbe and Nkyie Dongwro villages in Miango district are in Bassa Local Government Area in Plateau State.

Confidence in security forces is waning because the incessant gun attacks happen even though there is a government imposed curfew in the area.

There was wailing all around the communities as the state government urged calm.

When the Ta’agbe attack took place, the government was emphatic that it would get those behind the attack and make them to face the law adding that aiders and abetters of the attackers would also face the wrath of the law.
