The West Africa Broadcast and Media Academy (WABMA) has brought on board its team ace broadcast teacher and former Radio Nigeria presenter, Mr. Riume Efetie as Assistant Registrar Business Development at the academy’s Lagos training centre.
A statement by WABMA’s Registrar, Mr. Joseph Obari, described Efetie as “a sought-after broadcast presentation teacher, elocution consultant and author.”
“One more very experienced veteran has joined WABMA to consolidate our expansion drive and we are excited to welcome him. His decades of experience from his days as a presenter and a seasoned teacher arms him with the tools to deepen the academy’s penetration in Lagos and the entire south west region,” Dr Ken Ike Okere, Rector of WABMA said of Efetie’s appointment.
Mr Efetie has since assumed duty at the WABMA Lagos centre.
“We are now in the thick of preparations for the start of our quarterly certificate courses. For me, this new role opens the door to new challenges; a new chapter in my quest to give back to a profession that shaped who I am today. I am delighted to be part of such a talented team at WABMA” Efetie said.
