All is set for the 2024 Ofala Celebration of His Royal Highness Arc. Augustine Azuka Ngoddy, Eze Ogwuike11 of Atani kingdom, and the 10th anniversary of his enthronement as the 16th Igwe of the Community.
The Igwe will use the event which will take place on the 28th of December 2024, at the Central School field, Atani, to honour members of his Advisory Council ( IAC) and other illustrious individuals with chieftaincy conferment.
The first batch of Igwe Advisory Council (IAC) members comprises seventeen (17) qualified indigenous personalities to advise and help him administer the affairs of Atani Community along with Ndi Iche.
Some illustrious sons and daughters of Atani, Age Grades, Traditional Rulers of other communities, dignitaries and people from all walks of life are expected to grace the occasion.
Also expected to attend the event to entertain the enthusiastic crowd are various traditional dances and masquerades.
Ndi Iche, the new Chiefs, invited dignitaries and the age grades are expected to pay a royal homage to the Igwe.
On the second of the event, 29 December 2024, The Igwe , Ndi Iche and The Chiefs / IAC members will attend church services at both St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and St. James Anglican Church, Atani to bring the Ofala festivities to a successful end.
The Ofala Planning Committee in liaison with the Igwe, Ndi Uche, and the Advisory Council are leaving no stone unturned in an effort to have a hitch free ofala and a decade celebration of sitting on the stool of Atani Kingdom.
