Okphebholo sworn in as governor, nominates Oshiomhole’s son as commissioner

Senator Monday Okphebholo was Tuesday officially sworn-in as the governor of Edo State, ending the eight years reign of Godwin Obaseki. Dennis Idahosa was also sworn-in as the Deputy Governor of the State.

Dignitaries including Vice president Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, attended the ceremony.

Shortly after, the Governor announced the nomination of Barr. Musa U. Ikhilor as Secretary to State Government (SSG); Samson Osagie as Attorney General and Commissioner For Justice; and Oshiomhole’s son, Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole as Commissioner for Health.
