After spending just 47 days as Super Eagles Head Coach, Finidi George has reportedly resigned his job.
He was said to have left his lucrative job after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that it would appoint a foreign coach to assist him in carrying out his job.
Nigeria’s chances of going to the World Cup got slimmer after Nigeria lost to Benin Republic.
The NFF and the Minister for Sports, John Enoh, held a meeting with George this week, but details were not disclosed.
The NFF had confirmed the search for a foreign Technical Adviser following a poor run in the WCQ, but over George’s departure there has been no official word from the Federation.
