VIDEO (Viewers discretion advised): Terrorists killing Christians in Nigeria over Gaza war

Must read

A viral post on the Internet has shown members of insurgent group, Boko Haram, gunning down Christians and burning down their property over what they claim is vengeance for the war between Israeli forces and Hamas.

Watch the disturbing video below, with discretion

In the video, done in Kanuri and Hausa languages, and subtitled in Arabic, three men were executed, a motorcycle burnt, and a house appeared to be on fire.

The terrorists in the local languages swore to continue spilling the blood of Christians for every blood of Muslims slain in the war, thousands of kilometers away from Nigeria.

There was outrage on X (Twitter) over the killings, which has not gained traction in the mainstream and online local media in Nigeria.

Contacted, a resident of Maiduguri, Borno State, said the development is news to him, though he said that he was aware that the insurgents stopped a passenger vehicle early this month and took away the only Chrstian passenger.

Recall that when Boko Haram terrorists first began their atrocities over a decade ago, they targeted Christians, to the delight of many; but over time, they no longer neither know faith nor tribe and went on a killing spree that engulfed Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa. Today, it is difficult to tell whether the terrorists, or their cousins, the bandits, are driven by creed or greed for money.

There has been outrage since the latest video came on air. Dated Jsnuary 9, 2024, there has been no official comment on it by the federal government.

One commentator on social media, Wycliffe, said: “There is need for Christians to be watchful and vigilant in their movement over terrorists heinous activities.”

Onmonya Daniel said: “Boko Haram is executing Chrstians over the war in Gaza. These Kanuri chaps are bragging that this is the beginning of their attacks on Christians. We need the Sultan of Sokoto to condemn this immediately as the leader of Muslims in Nigeria. This is unacceptable.”
On X, Ladayo @Remidebayo, noted: “This is worrisome in a country with a president and government.”
