Nabim (not his real name) had a spat with his father over the Father’s demand that he leaves his game console to go serve guests. The father’s response to all that was, Nabim grow up”
Very often we believers find ourselves in the Nabim space. We act like children when the Lord is expecting adult behaviour. How is that?
We get stuck in the elementary school of faith, getting absorbed or even confused about such basic issues as repentance from sin, baptisms, faith in God, etal_ (Hebrews 6:1-3)
We keep craving the milk in the word when we should be tackling meat and bones. (Heb.5:12-14; 1Cor. 3:21)
We get obsessed with our ‘kingdom rights, privileges and entitlements’ while ignoring our kingdom responsibilities._ _(Mt. 28:19; 2Tim.2 :2)_
When your Christian life is built entirely around your needs and fears, rather than God’s vision and purpose, you are but a child. It’s time to grow up!
