A fresh name has appeared on the list of ministerial nominees after 47 names had been previously sent and many screened. He is Festus Keyamo, former Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
An executive letter from President Bola Tinubu to the Senate featured the name of the senior advocate of Nigeria on Friday.
Keyamo was the chief spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation, taking on all and sundry who came across his way, and that of his principal, Tinubu, in the weeks leading to, during, and after the February 25 Presidential election.
Like those left to be screened, Keyamo, who once had a running battle with the National Assembly over the creation of 774,000 jobs for Nigerians, will have his day before the senior lawmakers.
