In their hundreds, like the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) protesters, they came to Abuja.
However, they came in support of President Bola Tinubu rather than to protest his policies. With their leader, Asari Dokubo, they huffed, they puffed, and let it be known they were the president’s unofficial enforcers. And they also dispersed.
Thankfully, the opposing parties did not cross each other’s path; and Abuja, the seat of power, was saved the consequences – whatever they may have been.
