As expected, the Senate has confirmed Maj. Gen. Chris G. Musa (Chief of Defence Staff), Maj. Gen. Taoreed A Lagbaja (Chief of Army Staff), Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla (Chief of Naval Staff), and AVM H.B Abubakar (Chief of Air Staff) have been confirmed as service chiefs of the Armed forces.
President of the Senate l, Godswill Akpabio said the service chiefs answered questions on defence-related matters and topical iissus during the closed session.
On resumption of plenary on Thursday, each of the service chief briefed the senators on their plans for each of their services before the screening went into a closed session.
President Bola Tinubu had weeks ago nominated the chiefs in addition to Police Inspector General, Kayode Egbetokun; and Comptroller General of the Customs Service, Mr. Wale Adeniyi.
