MEMBISA (not her real name) has been on my mind all week. She is a young High School graduate seeking admission into college. *She did the needful by sitting for the qualifying exam*, at which she announced herself the highest scorer.
The whole world rose to Membisa’s applause. Offers of scholarships came pouring her way. *But alas it all turned out to be a farce, an internet scam* for which she received a ban. She went to a portal where scores are manufactured or manipulated.
*There is a more serious ‘entrance examination’ facing us*, it is for admission into Heaven. God has only one entry qualification: *personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that demands repentance and transformation*. To seek admission through allegiance to a Church, a Creed, a Man or Woman of God is to get a fake result on a wrong portal.
