In Sierra Leone, Osinbajo, others monitor election

After nearly a week in Sierra Leone, the Commonwealth Observer group, led by Nigeria’s immediate Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, has been monitoring the election in the West African nation.

According to a statement by one of its aides, Mr. Laolu Akande, Osinbajo, ‘at the crack of dawn on Saturday visited multiple polling stations in Freetown,” the country’s capital to observe elections.

He also witnessed the counting of votes later in the day.
