There has been a fire incident in the Ministry of the Federal Capital Territory, incoming reports claim.
A team of fire-fighters are said to have battled the inferno, which cause is not known for now, except that it is electric in nature.
But a source said it’s a part of the server room in the Education Department of the block that houses the Minister’s office that is on fire.
It is not exactly known if the Minister, Malam Mohammed Bello, is back in town; because he was in Kashimbila Dam in Taraba State earlier on Thursday to stand-in for President Muhammadu Buhari to inaugurate the dam.
An aide to the minister confirmed last night that the fire has been brought under control, while a statement was being expected from the Federal Capital Territory Authority (FCTA) Director of Information, Mr. Hazat Sule, at press time.
