With a margin of a little more than 3,300 votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate has defeated other candidates in the governorship election in Enugu State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer made the declaration in Enugu at about 10.46 p.m. on Wednesday night.
But supporters are questioning the results, wondering why the much-vaunted BVAS was not used in the whole of Nkanu Local Government Area.
The details of votes polled showed that the PDP candidate, Peter Mbah, polled 160,895 votes.
His closest rival, the LP candidate, Mr. Chijoke Edeoga, polled 157,552 votes. Below are votes per party as announced.
