Drama as Atiku sends back Governors Ganduje, Bagudu, Badaru

Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has refused to meet three governors – Abdullahi Ganduje, of Kano, Atiku Bagudu, of Kebbi, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa and the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu who visited him, it is believed, to seek rapprochement over the election he lost to their party’s candidate and President-elect, Senator Bola Tinubu.

According to a report, Atiku has concluded plans to head to the Court, and the men he would not see them.

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the PDP candidate, Dr. Tunde Olusunle, told Everyday.ng that he was aware that the men made efforts to see Atiku but did not.

Some reports said the visit The was part ofmoves by Tinubu to reach out to all those who had contested with him during the last Saturday’s Presidential elections.

“Recall that the PDP and Labour Party had rejected the results of the election announced by INEC. adjudged by many as the most fraudulent elections in the history of Nigeria”, the PDP source who sent out the story noted.

Said a source: “The former Vice President had met with party leaders to explore options to reclaim the stolen elections.

“Part of the agreement reached was to seek redress at the court where evidence would be rendered to show how the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, rigged the Presidential elections in favor of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.”

Tinubu’s spokesman, Mr. Tunde Rahman, promised at press time to get back to Everyday.ng on the visit as soon as he confirmed it.
