Confirmed not to be COVID-19, nor any of its variants, but all the same deadly and presenting some symptoms like the pandemic that ravaged the world and forced a shut-down everywhere, at least three Nigerians, among others, have died of the fatal flu in China.
Seven other Nigerians are said to be hospitalised in Quanzhou, China, according to an internal memo in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
According to the memo (attached), it may be necessary to emplace measures and reactivate COVID-19 centres in the country.
The outbreak of the strange ailment was said to have started mid last year.
Nigerians are known to flood China in large number for business and tourism, a situation that may have thrown the government into panic mode.
