The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State got its much-sought participation in next March 11 gubernatorial election as the Court of Appeal, Sokoto Division on Friday set aside the Federal High Court Judgement nullifying the election of Dr Dauda Lawal-Dare as its Zamfara governorship candidate.
Dr Lawal-Dare, last May, emerged PDP’s candidate, but on September 16, a federal high court in Gusau nullified his election, after a lawsuit filed by Madawaki, Shehu-Gusau, and Aliyu Hafiz Muhammad challenging the legality of the primary election.
