Not minding the series of events that set the social media agog with commendations, mockery, and sober analysis, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu , Kaduna Governor, Malam Nasir el Rufai, took to dancing amid feasting, as a viral video shows.
At a corner in the video, Jigawa governor, Badaru, reeled with laughter as he watched Tinubu dance.
Earlier, a spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senator Dino Melaye, took to mocking Tinubu over the manner he shied away from answering questions put to him, delegating to an aide, Dele Alake, and Governors Nasir el Rufai (Kaduna) and Ben Ayade (Cross River).
Another video clip on social media showed the moment Tinubu delegated questions in what he described as “teamship”. On social media, the move was criticised by many, but applauded by some. Some commentators say it was to prevent another in a series of gaffes that has bedevilled his public appearances. One mocker wrote: “Dem say Jagaban turn Chatham house to ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ where you can phone a friend when you are stuck.”
