In this life, we all tend to grow and conform to the image of our heroes – those we love and admire. *As believers in Christ, that hero ought to be The Lord Jesus*. We are to grow and be conformed to His image (Romans 8:28-29)
*Today, many believers chose, out of immaturity and folly, to allign their lives with their favourite spiritual heroes*, and subsequently take on their personality, style, and even language. We become mere copies of men rather than imitators of Christ.
Believing in Jesus is the beginning of the Christian life; growing in Him is the journey, while becoming like Him is the ultimate goal. *Be an original, not a photocopy*.
