Doyin Okupe has withdrawn from being the vice presidential candidate to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
Doyin Okupe announced his withdrawal on Thursday, disclosing that he has submitted his withdrawal letter to Obi and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP) has finalised arrangements to unveil Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as running mate to its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Friday.
Baba-Ahmed, a former Senator and younger brother to Northern Elders Forum spokesman, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, is the proprietor of Baze University, Abuja and Baba-Ahmed University Kano.
