Dr. Enenche should have waited a little longer to speak

Must read

By Obinna Azogu

I listened to Dr Eneche’s side on the unfortunate death of Sister Osinachi.

Left for me I would have preferred he maintained some more time of silence, but if I am the one and I  would speak, I would have spoken to God, seeking to know (from God) on why he didn’t let me know all that was going on around me. Especially of such magnitude that would deal such a hard blow. He would have been more concerned on why the members would be so scared to let out their pain or let him know such struggles? Though I am not certain if he is not asking such questions.

However, he would have been sober seeing that all his ministerial acts of prophecy and revelation has been proven limited in the face of this devastating tragedy, though he is zealous and hardworking.

He would have acknowledged before all that he can’t do all things and that his anointing is nothing near unraveling all secrets and mysteries. And that he can’t change from being a man to being God.

He seems to be speaking in defence. This will raise more dust. I feel for him, though. The pressure must be much. Under pressure I would also make the mistake of self-defense when I shouldn’t. There is no need for self-defense or denomination defence. If it is about God, He can defend Himself. What has happened is beyond Enenche and his much-talked about anointing and spiritual revelations in preachings.

I hope people will learn that no man eats with God and Jesus Christ on the same table as many are made to believe. That is why we must not depend on men or swallow all that they say as prophecy and revelation. Every anointed man stands limited in the body of Christ. What he or she has is only a measure. All grace abound on the Church and not on an individual. That is why Jesus gave gifts to men and not to one man, according to Ephesians 4:1-16. Each gift (of the 5-fold listed here) is help and check to one another and for building the body corporately.

As for his reference to Noah ark, that had mixture of good and bad, It does not fit the Church Jesus Christ said he will build. Noah ark is not the same as the Church of the living God. In spiritual view, Noah was a man over the management of the ark. But Jesus Christ is the head of the true Church and this should comprise only called-out people. Not mixed multitude. Read John 6 and see what Jesus did about multitudes. Noah couldn’t do that. No minister as celebrated will do that. Moreover, read especially, John chapter 17, and see what Jesus said about the Church while reporting to the Father. That was Jesus report card and we are to follow suit on that. Please don’t stone me, I am not teaching or addressing your anointing papa. I am only dealing with the Biblical issue he raised and  not his person.

Maybe, the problem of this gathering in faith known as Church is this Noah’s Ark concept. Men have decided to do ministry in Noah’s order. Incidentally, in the New Testament, it is God that adds to the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ. Not man.

Furthermore, no man knows so much. People should grow to walk with Jesus Christ by being led by the Holy Spirit. Keep men where they belong. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

There is no big man of God anywhere. We are all brethren and everyone should be supplying according to the grace given by God, while building the church in co-labour with God. No competition no comparison. No magnification of any spiritual gift or man.

I really empathize with Dr. Eneche. I really feel for him. Now people will be wondering and asking, where was the anointing and all the spiritual insight and revelation knowledge into deep and hidden things? Ah! poor brother. Going by the way he may have spoken confidently of knowing much of spiritual things it is now time to have search light focused on him.

God has a way of humbling everyone of us. When such perplexity happens, we must acknowledge it and come down. Nevertheless, this would rescue him from many who take servants like him as God. That is, if only people will learn and if he will tell them, saying “Don’t look at me, I am not God.”

We can all see his perplexity and the level of darkness that happens around him, even in the midst of anointing and revelations. Oh! dear brother Enenche, sorry for the focus on you, people are only measuring with the measure with which you spoke to them of anointing, prophecies and revelations.

Dear friends, only with God and in God is no darkness at all (1John1:1-7). That is why all gathering must be to know God and His Son Jesus Christ. And not to know any “BIG man of God’ with whom much darkness surrounds.

Many people will even dare to fight me if I say the leaders they rever are fellow and ordinary brothers like us all. So let me close my mouth and mind myself. Sentiments and emotions are on the rise.

However, the death of Osinachi is a wound and a loss of service to all of us who are in the household of faith.

People are wondering what became of all the talk about anointing, power of God, prophecy and revelation. They are not asking Enenche or Dunamis alone. They are asking us who preach the gospel and all who speak of being born again. Should i defend myself and say I do not speak as though I am God as others do? No! I should’nt.

Even though I don’t speak and think of myself more highly than I ought in the matter of anointing, revelation, etc, yet I would not be spared from the query on our table. All of us are being screened. Their questions and examination have fallen on all of us. Soon, walking away and divorce will become the leading counsel at every little conflict in marriage. Soon, people will group all together and brand following Christ as empty religion. The reproach has fallen on all and the Lord would be misunderstood because of misrepresentations.

Our brethren and elder brethren in faith, will do well if we all learn to tell the people what Jesus has told us. That will help people know that people we are just men and only God is God.

Jesus saysin John 15:5 (KJV):
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

May the Lord help us. I am really reflecting and soberly processing the departure of Sister Osinachi. What lessons to learn. This is no time to defend the Church, myself, or the anointing. It is perplexing and calls for sober reflection.

Dear people, you don’t need to seek Enenche’s defence. The matter is bigger than him. Let him acknowledge it and come down reflecting soberly.

The Lord help us. We are really in a serious time.
