There are unconfirmed reports that the Council of State meeting which held in the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja this Thursday may have granted state pardon to former Governors Joshua Dariye of Plateau State, and Jolly Nyame of Taraba State.
A source said that he has spoken to the wife of one of the men and she confirmed the information to him. It was not clear at press time if both men had walked out of prison or were awaiting the paperwork to be done.
Both men were jailed for corruption-related offences.
