The Fusion and Transition Council of the proposed Mega Party of the Third Force Movement has set up an Implementation and Harmonisation Committee to consummate the fusion of partners and stakeholders participating in the process of floating the Third Force Mega Party initiated by the National Consultative Front, NCFront
This was the high point of the far reaching decisions taken today at the meeting of the Council held at the Labour House, Abuja, where negotiations were finalized and ratified on the allied political party to be adopted as the Third Force mega Party for the 2023 elections
In attendance at today’s session were eminent leaders of conscience, including Prof Pat Utomi, Chairman of National Consultative Front, NCFront, who presided over the meeting, Chairmen and Representatives of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, African Democratic Congress, ADC, People’s Redemption Party, PRP among others.
The meeting also received good will messages from Former INEC Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega and NLC President, Comrade Ayuba Wabba and Prof Kingsley Moghalu, among others
The terms of reference of the Implementation and Harmonisation Committee, among others include, ensuring smooth harmonisation and consummation of the fusion of coalescing partners and stakeholders at the Wards, LG, States and National levels of the Third Force adopted Party by the end of this month, so as to enable all Nigerians register and join the adopted party and to participate in the Congresses and National Convention of the Third Force Mega Party initiated to rescue Nigeria from misrule and unprecedented impunity in the country.
The Committee was also mandated to zone and slate executive offices of the People’s Alternative Mega Party ahead of the Congresses and National Convention of the Adopted Party of the Third Force Movement to be conducted, within INEC Guidelines and Timelines, based on the Implementations of the all agreements ratified at today’s meeting.
Within its time frame, the committee is also expected to ensure the rebranding of the adopted party and transform it into a real inclusive and formidable mega party that can be owned by the Nigerian peoples, workers, youths, women and the vulnerables of the Nigerian society, while building the manifesto of the alternative mega party on the newly launched Political Charter of demand of the Labour Movement as agreed at today’s session.
The work of the Implementation and Harmonisation Committee begins immediately and shall announce the Third Force adopted Party at the end of its tasks.
