There was pandemonium in the Idi Ape Area of Iwo Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, after armed robbers blocked a bullion van, killed a policeman and carted away an unspecified amount of money.
A trending video showed a shot motorist who bled from his arm, while a motorcycle rider writhe on the tar in pains, apparently from being hit by a bullet.
The Police have not yet issued a formal statement, but some plain-cloth officers were seen at the point of incident shortly after it happened.
