Kidnapped pioneer Provost of the College of Education (Technical), Kabba in Kogi State, Chief Oshadumo J.O.T. Oshadumo, is dead.
He died in a crossfire between his kidnappers and a local vigilance group in a forest in the Ogori Community of the Kogi East Senatorial District.
He was the sole kidnap victim when bandits struck, killing one person, in an Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) congregation in Okedayo-Kabba, in the Kogi West Senatorial District, two Sundays ago.
Sadly, his wife and some students of the school shot in the church are still receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
Oshadumo’s body, recovered by members of the vigilance group, has been deposited at the Ogori General Hospital.
Recall that the Federal Minimum Correctional Centre in Kabba was attacked by unknown gunmen and prisoners set free, before a rash of abductions in that axis.
