Immunisation refers to the process of getting a vaccine potent enough to make one immune to a disease. *Immunizations work by stimulating the immune system to resist and withstand an invading viral infection*. In other words, your body receives just enough of an infection not to catch one.
There is a “gospel” making the rounds that makes one catch just enough religion to avoid Christ. It is the self-serving gospel of humanism and materialism that puts man and his needs at the centre, and God merely as a service provider. This “gospel” neither compels repentance nor a lifestyle change. It is fake.
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, all things have passed away…” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Any encounter with God and His word that leaves one religious but not transformed is a mere immunisation against the new and real life Christ offers.
