In an unexpected move, All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator, former Governor Rochas Okorocha, has come out in total condemnation of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency accusing it of using waging a proxy battle against the Igbo ethnic nationality by taking on the Independent Peoples of Biafra and the Eastern Security Network.

In a statement through his spokesman, Sam Onwuemeodo, the Senator Representing lmo West senatorial District, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, condemned the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kalu.

Okorocha who described the arrest as illegal, said the interception of Mazi Nnamdi Kalu at Kenya, was not only undemocratic, but can best be described as a kidnap.

The former lmo state governor, warned that those within the Presidency of Mohammad Buhari should desist from the calculated fight against the Igbo Nation.

Senator Okorocha said that, “the failure of Buhari’s Presidency to secure the South East birthed the Eastern Security Network (ESN) which many politicians and leaders of the South East rely on for the safety of their lives and properties.” He described ESN as a vision which he saw as a Governor, when he established the Imo Security Network (ISN).

Senator Okorocha regreted the killing of ESN operators within the last five weeks and called for the unconditional release of all IPOB/ESN operators who have been arrested and tagged unknown gunmen, because they are known and they are fighting for the Igbo race.
