After grinding Kaduna to a halt for three days, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended, with just two days to go, its warning strike in Kaduna State.
Ayuba Wabba said the decision to stand down is to honour the invitation of the Federal Government for Thursday to mediate in the dispute between labour and the Kaduna State Government.
Dr. Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, invited the NLC and the Kaduna government to a reconciliation meeting.
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el Rufai and his top officials are to meet face to face with Wabba and top NLC leaders in Abuja with Ngige and top federal officials.
