Our Lord Jesus, in His parables of the Kingdom, spoke of a hidden “treasure” and “a pearl” of great value which a man found in a field, and for its sake, gave up all in order to purchase.
The “FIELD” speaks of the world in which we live – our nations, communities, families and work places.
The “TREASURE” and “PEARL” speaks of God’s kingdom, to posses and inherit which demands our all. They also represent The REDEEMED of the Lord from every nation, tribe, tongue and vocation a people so precious to the Lord He was willing to give all to purchase.
For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son…Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants…” (Jn. 3:16; Isa.53:10)
BELOVED of the Lord, whenever the enemy, men or life circumstances seek to devalue and demean your life, remember you are worth the blood of Jesus, the very apple of God’s eye.
