All around us are chilly and depressing headlines: chaos, death, destruction, wickedness, injustice and oppression. Many wish they could help change things but the enormous and complex nature of the challenge breeds a sense of helplessness and hopelessness, which drive many to fury or resignation.
For Believers, there is hope – as we pray. BEHOLD OUR GOD, HE COMES
“… O Zion. With a clear, strong voice make known to everyone the joy that belongs to God’s chosen place …Don’t be afraid! Say to these cities …“Behold your God!” The Lord comes with power, with unstoppable might; He will take control without question or delay. He will see to it that repairs are made, and all is set right again” (Isaiah 40:8-10, TVT)
“Behold He comes, riding on the clouds, Shining like the sun at the trumpet’s call. Lift your voice, year of Jubilee. Out of Zion’s hill, salvation comes” (“DAYS OF ELIJAH” by Donnie McClurkin).
