(Videos) Worry, anxiety as more clerics preach self defense, even with IEDs

It started as whispers, but as killings continue unabated and the Federal Government continues with assurances amidst bloodletting, more clerics are raising their voices for Nigerians to defend themselves against the onslaught of bandits, Fulani militia, and other violent groups.
Worse, while the videos calling for self-help are not making it to mainstream media, they are gaining traction in closed groups, and sources say they are worrisome to security agencies who fear that a “cataclysmic implosion” is on the way.
One of the clerics, a Borno-born Christian, Sadiq el Buba, referenced the painful Nigerian civil war and admonished listeners to emulate the Igbo who fabricated weapons of war to defend their race. el Buba even advocated the use ofImprovised Explosive Devices (IEDs) as defence weapons.
