Self promotion or God’s introduction?

The card read: “Rev.Dr. Apostle Sharp Sharp” (not real name). “Demon Destroyer (DD)”, “Barreness Bulldozer (BB)”, ” Satan Bus Stop (SBS)” All describing this young man I met at conference at which we were co-speakers. And he demanded to be so introduced before his session. I wondered how Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, would be introduced.
We live in an age of self-obsession, self-promotion and personal advertising (selfies?). And the social media platforms have made it easy for such to be globalized. Sadly, even God’s children and servants that ought to be epitomes of humility and self-effacement get sucked into it. Stealing God’s glory?
Our Lord Jesus Christ and His ministry were validated by other witnesses: The Scriptures, Testimonies from men, The Father in Heaven and the Fruits of His life and ministry. Hear Him: “If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not valid”. John 5:31 AMP.
