Above is viral audio by Grandma Selma that started it all

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has initiated investigations leading to the death of Regional Manager of First Bank Plc in Kano State, Abdullahi Lawal, whose mother-in-law, Selma Abmed, called out the Kano State Government and NCDC for negligence in his alleged death from the COVID-19 disease.
PRNigeria disclosed in a report on its website that official said investigations were on.
But Head of Prevention, Programmes and Knowledge Management, NCDC, Dr Chinwe Ochu, disclosed that samples had been collected from close contacts of the deceased banker’s for testing.
Mrs Ahmed, a grandmother, in a viral audio, lamented that NCDC had not heeded her daughter’s and her call for help when the bankers situation was dire.
She cried out that the centre should reach out and test her daughter and grandchildren.
But Ochu sought to exonerate the centre explaining that it is state governments that are responsible for testing, adding that the NCDC has no laboratory of its own in Kano for testing for diseases.
According to her, the centre normally helps states to prepare and respond to disease outbreaks. This, she said, includes capacity building, training, guidance and coordination.
