Tongues are for a time such as this

“For we know not how to pray but the Holy Spirit helpeth our infirmities with groanings which cannot be understood” Romans 8:26
I have heard so many different views on what is happening over the past few weeks; it would be amusing if it were not such a serious matter.
Everyone seems to have their own view of what is happening. Some say it is God’s punishment on the wicked, some others say it is His judgement on a wicked World. Yet others say it is the devil’s agenda, the end time tribulations beginning, etc etc.
The truth is, there are few people who truly understand what this is all about. We do not know enough about the mind of God to know exactly what is happening. (The reasons for our ignorance will be examined in another article)
One of the most fascinating things about Christianity for me, is that we serve a God, who is all-knowing. He is Omniscient. He knows everything, and with the promise of the Holy Spirit came the promise of the one who “lead us into all truth.”
We may not know what this is all about but God knows, and He has put in us, His all+knowing Spirit, therefore, there is dwelling in us, the complete knowledge of what is happening.
I believe that the biggest need on Earth right now is prayer. People are frightened, and rightly so. Some are angry, grieving, hungry, sick, weary, and quite a good number of people need wisdom to handle what is happening. If there was ever a time to pray, it is now. But the needs are so many and If you are also confused yourself, which of these numerous needs do you pray about?
If you are in #stayathome mode you can’t do much evangelism but there is no distance in the realm of the Spirit.
Through prayer we can mobilize angelic hosts to go round a confused World.
And because the Holy Spirit knows the mind of the Father, we can pray in the Spirit and be sure we are praying according to His will.
Therefore let us pray in the Spirit. This is the time you need that ability to pray in tongues more than ever before. Pray an hour in tongues, pray two hours or three or four; don’t worry about anything, the Spirit knows. Pray, knowing that God knew about Coronavirus long before the Earth was formed a s He knows exactly what He is doing.
Pray without ceasing, and when you have prayed, be at peace. And then pray some more.
