MIFAA Donates Drugs to Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja.

A delegation from Medical Initiative for Africa, Abuja (MIFAA) International secretariat, Monday donated drugs worth hundreds of thousands of Naira to the Management of Asokoro District Hospital (ADH).
A statement by MIFAA’s, Director of Public Engagement, Dr. Oguamanam Jacqueline, said the team led by its President, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, included the Vice President, Dr Agbor Ebuta; and Director of Special projects, Dr Noel Arua, was received by the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr Nnabuchi and Head of Pharmacy Department, Pharm. Peter Enemarie.

The President, Dr Taiwo, re-affirmed MIFAA’s desire to expand the borders of interaction and assured the management and staff of continued support.
Dr Ebuta stressed the importance of the private sector’s support for government organisations to facilitate the execution of humanitarian services.
Dr Arua, poured encomiums on the management and staff of the hospital for their excellent commitment to maintaining access to cost-efficient, quality medical services, and encourage the management to use the drugs for indigent patients.
The ADH CMAC, also a Consultant Gastroenterologist, while receiving the items, expressed gratitude on the collaborative efforts, and called on other well-meaning organizations and individuals to emulate MIFAA.
On his part, the HOD Pharmaceutical services, Pharm. Peter Enemarie assured MIFAA of judicious use of the medications.
The team from MIFAA subsequently took a mini tour of the hospital and left with a promise to visit in the near future with more strategic support.
